It has been a good week. Friday I slept and slept. Brett thought I was dreaming away for about 20 hours. I got up to eat and then after a short while it was time to lay back down. It was truely a PJ day. Saturday I graduated up to a sweats outfit. It was a relaxing day, but it was nice to be up and around more. Today I was back to feeling more normal. It was wonderful to go to church. Church is a combination of a second home and yet we can get out of the house to go.
Brett reminds me that I get to be patient and not expect myself to be super mom. I usually have high expectations for myself, so learning to rest and giving myself a break is new for me. We'll get there one day at a time.
Tomorrow I'll go to school and teach. That is a joy.
My next chemo treatment will be Thursday. I always look forward to beating this ugly cancer any way possible!
I remain thankful for the chemo and am continuing to ask God for a big miracle of healing. I know he has all of our lives in His hands. Specifically I believe He has asked me to trust Him through this adventure. So, this is what I will do. He is a big, loving God and will be with us through it all.
