A Mommy Day

Today I stayed home with Bryce as he has a flu bug. It is good to spend some mommy time with him as he rests. It was also good for me to take an extra day of rest.
My head has several red bumps all over the scalp. Brett thinks it looks like chicken pox. I learned it's really just a normal chemo side effect that some people get when their hair is falling out. It's beginning to feel better and a hatless day is just what I needed. I'm sure thankful for a great staff at the Wenatchee Valley Clinic! They seem to be ready to know or find the answer to any bizarre question that comes up. Way to go guys!
Well, I'm off to help Bryce. Keep looking up and thanks for the prayers.

We missed you today, but I'm glad you got an extra day of rest -- with some added special time with Bryce.
Keep the faith and keep looking up!
Hope to see you back at school on Tuesday-- but only if you're ready!

Sheri -
You're amazing - did you know that?! You are not only supermom, but you're superteacher; seeing your cheery face at school makes my days better :O)

I thought I'd share this with you, since I already shared it with Brett. Juliana was subbing the other day and worked with Bryce. As she sat down and asked Bryce if he was ready do start, he kinda gave her the eye and said "Are you a Husky, or a Cougar!?" Priceless.

Sheri,
I'm glad you are enjoying your little boy! My Marissa has been sick for a few days-I could get used to this hot tea and movie thing! How about you? Thinking about you all the time!
