Today was my first day back to work since Thanksgiving and it was so great to see the kids smiling faces. I feel completely supported and spoiled at work. Today I worked with my sub who will be there when I need to rest. We accomplished a lot with the kids. Reading testing is up to date, new art projects are ready to proudly be displayed in the hall and the kids are prepared to play their new math game we learned today. Best of all, we all felt at home in our little classroom. The kids are such hard workers.
I know my doctor is concerned that I don't over do it or push myself too hard... she knows me too well. So my goal will be to watch myself and make myself rest when I need to. But I just can't help it that I love teaching so much.
We're still looking up and praying for a big miracle. Thanks for praying with us.

I don't know how you do it! You are amazing! The first day back after Christmas Break completely wore me out--and I didn't have a chemo treatment yesterday. I'm glad you had a good day. Take it easy, though. Your doctor isn't the only one worried about you.
Sheri & Brett -- thank you for making time for us on New Year's Eve Day...the Finley and Jenks kids loved sledding at your place and getting to know your kids better. We are so stoked that you had a great first day back at school today. We're looking forward to seeing you guys again soon!
Sheri-
Abbie was so happy to have you back, as am I. Please take care of yourself though. You are an amazing woman!
Love you!

It was so great to see you back looking very stylish. I'm sure your class was excited. Good luck and I hope we see you many times more.
You love life more than anyone I know ! You deserve health Sheri! I know the teaching will give you good mental health which will lead to physical health too!
