Hair Race Up-Date

Like any sport, race or game...today's winner depends on how you interpret the rules. Who's ahead you ask? Well, in length, my hair is longer. (Brett gave me a head start by a couple of weeks.) However, when we look at thickness, Brett is light years ahead of me! The thinnest part of his hair at the very top of his head is STILL much thicker than mine anywhere on my head!

Right now that cute, old poem about the bear Fuzzy Wuzzy is a little to close to reality! Remember that one? Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, So Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he? Yep, I'm a kindergarten teacher!

Anyway, it gives us something to laugh about and hair is definitely something to look forward too!

Looking up continually,

Sheri

Brett & Sheri

I finally caught up with your blog tonight -- awesome news on your scan results!!! Julie and I are so thankful and excited for you two and your families for this great news!

But we also hurt for your mom, Brett, in her continuing battle. I so admire your family's faith and courageous tenacity in the face of these multiple challenges.

Kyle Kupp, my best friend Craig's brother, appears to be losing his battle with brain cancer. I know you guys have your own battles right now, but please remember Kyle in your prayers, as he is struggling to eat and drink at this time, 4 years and 2 operations after being diagnosed. His wife Kendra, kids McKenna and Kyler, and Kyle's parents Jake and Carla covet prayer intervention for Kyle and the entire family.

I work with Craig, so I will share with him, tomorrow, your victory, which I know will be encouraging.

We love you guys and can't wait to see you again to celebrate this awesome milestone. Praise God!

Paul, Julie, Megan and Carter Finley.

Laughing out loud Sheri!
"We have a lady in our church who is battling cancer and she now has fuzz on her head. On Sunday I told her,"Bald is beautiful but fuzz is better!"
hugs,
