This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Well, I will rejoice in the Lord, but understand that we may not always like or understand how things turn out initially. I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful for my doctors. I am thankful for support and love. I am thankful for my children. I am thankful for my hubby...you don't know how much!
We found out that the cancer is in 6 to 7 places in my liver and in my breast and in my bones in a couple of places. We are still looking at my ribs. We don't know if it is there or if they were damaged at the time of the biopsy. A PET scan should show this soon. I will receive a port for Kemo on Friday and they will be doing an ultra sound on my heart as a base line. They need to know how the kemo may effect it at a later date.
We are trusting God to lead us through this one day at a time which will turn into one week at a time which will become one month at a time and then year at a time and I'm hoping for decades after this. Yes, that is a run on sentence that I hope lasts a LONG time!
We are not letting go of God's hand through all of this. Here we go! Yes, we've cried too........but attitude and trust are a choice God gives us.......choose wisely.
Keep praying!!!

Hi sweetie.
You and your family are in my constant prayers and thoughts.
You are amazing! Even as you go through these "troubled waters," you remain so inspirational. Did you win most inspirational in high school?
Hopefully we can catch up on Wednesday. I can't wait to see the new hairdo.
Love ya.
We are praying! Thank you for your balanced response to this. Seeing you guys face reality with a faith that doesn't ignore those facts but chooses to focus on Jesus is humbling and inspiring to me.
We want to see the new hairdo!
You are such a bright light in this world through good times and bad. Thank you for your amazing example!
This blog is so helpful to know how to pray more specifically, thank you for taking the time to stay connected.
You do shine like a star in the universe! I'm on my knee's for you and your family ~ Tammi Larson

Thank you for being such an amazing example of faith in a time of "temporary circumstance". It is truly a blessing to be able to witness this and know who is really in charge!!
The many prayers that are going up to heaven are being answered before we speak them.
Don't look down!!
Love and hugs

We think about you and your family multiple times as Atticus talks about how you are going to get "those cotton balls out and get better!" You sure are missed by your little kinders each day! We will pray as well for you in our family prayers and wish you a strong fight and a speedy recovery!! Love, Haley Dame (Atticus' mom)
Sra. Lamar quiero decirle que la familia Paloalto esta orando por usted y su famila.
Les amamos mucho.
Jesucristo le ama mucho.
I thought I saw you at school on Tuesday. I hope you feel better soon and that the cancer just disappears. My family and I are praying for you. And I want my brother and sister to get you for kindergarden when they go to school instead of Mrs. Dewey.
