Today I was given special blue slippers...which I promptly named my dancing shoes. There was also the fashionable baby blue nighty and robe in the traditional hospital motif. I couldn't help but model it for the nurses as I waited to use the restroom. It made them laugh and me too. Honestly, the mini surgery went well today. Everything went just like my surgeon wanted it to and for this I am so thankful. The happy juice they gave me made the window in the hospital door move a little back and forth...Brett informed me that I wouldn't be driving home at that point. The heart scan also went well. I'm glad to be getting a little closer to chemotherapy. I'm ready to stop this cancer and reverse it as best as we can.
Please keep praying and thank you for all the the support. Your prayers, words of encouragement and everything else you have all done mean so much. I know God works through the prayers of his people. Thank you to you all.

The girls in the sales office at Campbell's (yes that is were Mary Amsden is also) are lifting you up in prayer. Your new hair cut is fantastic - you look so good! What a beautiful person inside and out.
Just want you to know your face is before us and your name lifted up to our Jesus many times a day. What a pleasure to hold you close to our lord.
We ae looking up with you.

Love the dancing shoes! When I started my journey last summer through surgery and treatment, my son was teaching English in Taiwan. The girls in his class made a book for me that had me in a bed with an angel watching over me. On the last page was a picture of my son and I dancing together. I believe the same for you--dance through this and you will be dancing with your children again. Love, Tricia

It is just like you to name you slippers!! I love your positive outlook. I have been recruiting prayer warriors like you cannot believe. Even those who do not usually pray!! It is obvious God is using you to touch so many already. Praise God!!
I saw Bryce last night at the African Childrens Choir and they sang the song "He's got the whole world in his hands" All I could think is "He has YOU in His hands". It helped me realize that nothing is too big for Him.
Love and hugs to you Sheri

Sheri,
May your body become as pure as the snow falling up here in the jetstream. Thinking of you daily and sending you currents of love to ride upon. I want blue dancing slippers too!!! Anna says "hi". She has the chickenpox!!!! Dance on...big hug.
